They&#039;re definitely an acquired taste. When they&#039;re the opening band, a lot of people just don&#039;t get it. They were the opening act for RHCP and the audience was like, covering their ears. Granted, the acoustics weren&#039;t great, but my boyfriend would seethe when he heard someone booing them. Lol.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m not a huge fan of The Mars Volta, they are growing on me. Despite that I am super familiar with their music--their cds are on permanent rotation in my boyfriends car. But one thing is for sure, they put on a very entertaining show!

I&#039;ve been to two of their concerts and their energy is amazing. Even if you&#039;re not a huge fan, I think anyone can appreciate what the creativity of what they do.

Is this the clip from David Letterman or Conan OBrien where the audience didn&#039;t know how to react at the end of the song?</description>
